Join the DDCOC
SIX GOOD REASONS TO JOIN THE DDCOC;
1. To continuously build collaborative partnerships among organizations whose purpose would be to promote and sustain community empowerment.
2. To increase the City of Chicago's Westside Community residents awareness of, and access to new technology; to pool local resources in an effort to provide quality instruction in technology usage, maintenance and repair.
3. To help communities improve the quality of life for everyone and to create better places to live. We will do this by cultivating relationships, partnerships, leadership and innovation, within communities, businesses and among organizations that serve those communities.
4. Pooling of resources to more effectively achieve reform goals, and to work jointly for community empowerment.
5. For the purpose of supporting economic and community development in the state. The DDCOC is unique in that it combines the efforts of private businesses, state and federal government agencies, and a collection of nonprofit organizations. The DDCOC brings together many of the groups and individuals in Chicago with interests, talents, and resources to help local grass roots initiatives survive.
6. To help build capacity of individuals, organizations, and communities by developing technical skills.
